Billing & Renewal Rules

1. Payment Processing
All payments are processed securely by Stripe. WPKnockout does not store or process any card details.
By completing a purchase, you authorise Stripe to charge your selected payment method for the relevant amount, including taxes where applicable.

2. One-Time Purchases
For products sold as a one-time purchase:

  • You are charged once at checkout.
  • Access to downloads, updates, and support is granted for the period specified on the product page.
  • When the access period expires, renewal is optional.
  • Renewals, if offered, will be billed at the price displayed at the time of renewal.

3. Subscription Billing (If Applicable)
For products sold on a recurring subscription basis:

  • Your subscription automatically renews at the end of each billing cycle (monthly or yearly, depending on your plan).
  • Your stored payment method will be charged automatically unless you cancel before the renewal date.
  • By subscribing, you give Stripe ongoing permission to process recurring payments.

4. Subscription Price Changes
WPKnockout may update subscription pricing in the future.
You will be notified in advance, and price changes will never apply retroactively.
If you do not agree to the new price, you may cancel your subscription before the next billing cycle.

5. Failed or Expired Payments
If a renewal payment fails:

  • Stripe will automatically retry the payment for a limited period.
  • You will receive email notifications and an opportunity to update your payment method.
  • If payment remains unsuccessful, your subscription may be suspended or cancelled.
  • Access to updates, downloads, and support will pause until payment is resolved.

6. Grace Period for Renewals
WPKnockout may provide a brief grace period allowing you continued access while payment is being updated.
Grace periods are optional and not guaranteed.

7. Cancellation of Subscriptions
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account dashboard.
Upon cancellation:

  • No further payments will be taken.
  • Access remains active until the end of the current billing period.
  • Past payments are non-refundable.
  • After expiry, download access, updates, support, and licensing benefits will end.

8. Expired Licences
When a licence or subscription expires:

  • The product may continue to function in its current state.
  • You will lose access to new versions, updates, and support.
  • Continued compatibility with future versions of WordPress or WooCommerce cannot be guaranteed.

9. VAT, Taxes & Currency
Prices shown on the website exclude or include taxes depending on regional requirements.
If applicable, taxes will be calculated at checkout according to your billing location.
All payments are processed in the currency listed on the checkout page.

10. Chargebacks & Disputes
Before initiating a dispute or chargeback with Stripe or your card issuer, you must contact WPKnockout to resolve the issue.
Unauthorised chargebacks may result in:

  • Suspension of your licence
  • Loss of download and update access
  • Termination of your account

11. Billing Records & Invoices
After each successful payment, an email receipt or invoice will be sent to your registered email address.
You are responsible for ensuring your account and billing information is accurate.
